Why You Should Choose Our Certification Course

There is a lot of misleading information out there in regards to Pet First Aid & CPR Certification that you should be aware. At Pet Health Academy we want to make certain you are choosing the right course.

Why Our Programs are Better

Our course is veterinarian based and highly recommended.

We teach the most up-to-date protocols last updated in June 2012 by the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association)

Pet CPR protocols may change and the functionality of PHA's software alows for immediate content updates.

Pet Health Academy teaches the RECOVER Initiative Guidelines for Basic Life Support and CPR which were developed by the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.   Only CPR methods created and endorsed by licensed veterinarians should be used in any animal emergency.

We are partnered with Pet Sitters International, which provides knowledgable and certified pet sitters to watch peoples' pets.

The Pet Health Academy pet first aid and CPR certification course measures the retention of its students. We do not allow a student to obtain a certificate without providing that they have learned the necessary skills and education needed to help save pets in an emergency.

Taking a course online allows the student to learn at their own pace without the distractions of other students. We teach you how to safely practice protocols on real animals in and around your home, which is a more natural environment for an emergency to happen rather than in a classroom setting.

We offer 100% satsfaction guaranteed.

Learn from any device that has Internet and learn at your own pace. There is no need to drive hours to sit in a classroom. Learn from anywhere that is convenient for you.

Myths About Our Competitors

The American Red Cross does not certify participants in CPR for animals.  In fact they do not have any certification classes covering animal topics at all.  We encourage you to visit their website to see these facts for yourself.  They do have a Pet First Aid class that provides a certificate of completion but is not a certification program.

The American Heart Association has absolutely NO programs for animals.  Therefore anyone that advertises a pet CPR certification class with the American Heart Association is mistaken.

The hands on competition such as the Red Cross and Pet Tech offer no measure of retention. There are no quizes or ways to guage that the student has actually learned and is therefore qualified to help an animal in an emergency

Our competitors that teach in person preach that hands-on is the best way to practice but that is only as good as the skills of that instrcutor.

Our competitors do not have expiration dates on the course material or do so but in 2 years. How much do you remember in 9 months, 12, 18?
